And now she’s in the portal. Some think it’s money but there’s not that much money in college softball so highly unlikely. Probably more like the Jordy Bahl thing of homesick and/or boyfriend. I am sure she didn’t like splitting time at second base but next year she could play second or shortstop as the starter so it’s a head scratcher. Then again, she might even not actually leave.

Brito is beyond compare at third base and her hitting is very, very good also. Parker has the talent to help the Sooners when very, very big again. Whoever replaces Brito has some very big shoes to fill. I will miss watching her next season.

I was wrong about avery replacing jennings. I very recently heard she is leaving the Sooners. I would have to guess money from another University is involved. And that's fine if that's what she wants to do. I wish her luck except when her new team plays against the Sooners. She had approximately 3 or 4 errors against Texas but with a little practice that could be corrected. If she had stayed in Norman, I believe she would have been a starter for sure next year.

I had to smile a little bit at Kelly. With her talent of course the team would welcome her on the team. Oklahoma state tarnished themselves by the way they treated Kelly just because she wanted to go to an elite program.

Coach thank you, the softball hall of fame is in Oklahoma City for a reason, because Oklahoma was playing softball and promoting softball years and years before anyone else had a team. Just remember that.
